The yellow R7 would appear to have been stayed yellow all it's life becoming the yellow motorbike engined version that is known. So that gives us the Braun R7, the red one in Japan, the ex Frank Aston blue one uncovered in Germany and the yellow R7 which the author owned and whose first owner is unknown. My father used to race with Frank in the 70's as they were business partners, I was an enthusiastic 14 year old junior helper. I have many memories of their R6s and the R7 which I especially remember by it's often reluctance to start, requiring much towing up and down the paddock to get it to fire up !
